それ以前に予算の問題が一番だろね。
ベトナム人が作ったベトナム戦争映画、なんだかとっても面白そうだったんだけど、とーってもつまんなかった。
中途半端にミーハーだったし、コレといって斬新なベトナム戦争観というのもなかったし。
強いて言えばベトナムのジャングルが美しく描かれていた事にハッとしたところかな。
「うっそうとしたジャングル」
というイメージはあくまでアメリカ兵が感じたイメージであって、それは「恐怖」から来るものなんだろうね。
ベトナム人からしたら「美しき故郷」なわけで。
そんな中でもっと地獄の黙示録みたいにナパームドガーンとか枯葉剤バーっとかやったらすげえ胸が痛くていいカタルシスだったんだろうに。
まあ「美しき故郷」を映画の為に燃やす事はできないわな。
